Welcome to week two of the Month of Mindfulness!
Today’s meditation will be an affirmation meditation. It is 9 minutes in length. This style of meditation is believed to help in reinforcing change and building self-confidence.
In this video, the guide will suggest that you repeat these affirmations aloud. Honestly, it does help. It does feel really good to hear yourself, and feel yourself, saying such empowering things. However, if you don’t have alone time or wish to simply repeat the words in your head, do what makes you feel most comfortable. There is no right or wrong way to do it. Just do you!
However, if you are someone who often feels like you have a lump in your throat, or find yourself struggling to find your voice when you need it most, then…. repeat them aloud. It doesn’t have to be loud, just softly to yourself. It is very helpful in relieving that tension.
